TEE College is a registered Not-For-Profit Company, Public Benefit Organisation and Private Higher Education Institution whose programmes are accredited with the Council on Higher Education and registered with the South African Department of Higher Education and Training.
TEE College offers certificate, diploma and bachelor programmes in theological education for the support of Christian ministry.
JOB PURPOSE
Based in Brackenhurst, Alberton, the College is looking to appoint a Programme Facilitator who will report to the Head of Programmes.
As a member of the College’s academic team this role is responsible for curriculum and course writing while ensuring the quality of the education process, supporting materials, and assessment instruments is upheld.
CRITERIA FOR THE POSITION
- Honours degree in theology
- Adult learning, curriculum design and development qualification and / or solid experience supported by an appropriate portfolio of evidence.
- 3 – 5 years Christian ministry and / or community development experience in a Christian faith-based NPO / PBO.
- Experience in creating assessment instruments and related evaluation criteria.
- Experience in church-based training.
- Experience in distance-mode education.
- Curriculum and learning / instructional design and development
- Adult learning theory, principles and practices including online and e-learning content and assessment methods.
- Excellent Microsoft Word processing skills, basic imaging with basic network database skills.
- Conceptual and systems thinking with a strong detail orientation.
- Good verbal communication coupled with excellent writing and editing skills.
- Work collegially and in a team.
- Conscientious with high standards of work for self and others.
- Commitment to the learning and development of students.
- Embrace the Christian ethos and Biblical principles of the College and its partner Christian churches.
