TEE College offers certificate, diploma and bachelor programmes in theological education for the support of Christian ministry.
JOB PURPOSE
Based in Brackenhurst, Alberton, Theological Education by Extension College (TEEC) is looking to appoint an Administration Clerk: Student and Finance.
As a member of the College’s administration team this role is responsible for processing student applications and related financial transactions; assisting in the management of student data and records (including resolving ad hoc requests and queries); and providing logistical and administrative support to the College’s administration department and the College’s finance department.
CRITERIA FOR THE POSITION
- Matric with English at Matric Home Language level.
- Post Matric qualification in bookkeeping, business administration or accounting.
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in customer services in education, student administration or bookkeeping environment.
- Debtors experience would be an advantage.
- Good, demonstrable Microsoft applications skills, particularly Word and Excel.
- Evidence of experience in data capturing on a recognised systems database.
- Basic procurement policies and systems applicable to an organisation.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in business English.
- Conversational skills in at least two other South African languages.
- Atention to detail especially regarding documents and record keeping.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Work collegially and in a team.
