Online Services
Catalyst: Student administration
Students have access to an online portal which gives a web-based interface to some online services related to their administrative data. The Catalyst login credentials must be requested from the College, and will be sent via email. Please follow the instructions in that email, once received.
Through the Catalyst interface a student is able to access the library catalogue and request library items, update personal details, start a new application to study, view a summary of academic work completed, and request particular records (such as past Result Letters, Confirmation of Registration, Statements, etc.).
For security reasons not all information is displayed within the portal, but rather the logged-in student submits a request which is processed by the administration system, and the result is emailed to the student email address linked to the login.
TalentLMS: Student Learning Platform
Students who register for the online version of a course will access their study content through the TalentLMS learning platform. Students will submit their application to study in the usual way. Once successfully registered for online studies the student will be sent their login credentials via the email address they supplied on their application.
Once logged in to the learning platform students will have access to their programme, course and assessment materials. All further instructions for the course are communicated through the introductory course unit.
Use the Button Link above to navigate to the login page for the Talent Learning Management Platform – or visit the login page directly at online.teec.co.za. Do bookmark that page for future visits.
SABInet: Online Journal collection
The College subscribes to online Journal collections. These are generally used by students on advanced courses and those involved in academic projects.
Please email your request for access to the College Librarian – library@teec.co.za – and follow the directions in the email reply. The link above leads to the journal collection log-in page, although you need to have received log-in credentials in order to access the journal collection.
